The WH238 is a hi-vis polar fleece jacket for crews who work in the dark and in the cold - roadside repair teams, rail access gangs, yard and dock operations, and anyone whose shift starts before sunrise and ends after it. A fluorescent yellow polar fleece body carries EN 20471 Class 2 reflective tape around the torso and over both arms, so the wearer stays outlined to drivers and machine operators rather than merely bright.
Polar fleece holds its insulation and its softness at temperature, where a coated shell stiffens up. The full-zip front lets a crew change fast between a warm vehicle and a cold dock, and layers under a waterproof shell when it rains without bulk at the shoulder.

What does EN 20471 Class 2 actually cover?
Class 2 is a minimum-area rating, not a colour description. The standard sets how much fluorescent background material and retroreflective tape a garment must carry, and how that material must be distributed around the body. In procurement terms, Class 2 is the rating normally specified for work near traffic below 50 km/h and for sites with vehicle and plant movement. Class 3 requires greater coverage — usually a sleeved garment with more tape — and is specified for higher-speed or lower-light environments.
Can we add our company logo without breaking compliance?
